I’ve liberated shoulders, helped free stuck ankle tendons, and loosened the hold of chronic muscle pain all in the name of moving with more ease and keeping you doing what you love.
After eight years as a licensed massage therapist all the amazing moments seem to blur together, but what I love most is working magic on your muscles to help you continue to engage in the things that bring you joy: biking, hiking, climbing etc…
I believe being active and time spent outdoors is essential for us humans to be feeling our best. However we’ve all experienced injuries sustained from movement or the lack thereof, and that can really get us down. I’ve found that massage therapy is such a beneficial tool to maintain muscle health and get you back to doing what you love with less pain and more awareness in your body.
My calming demeanor, interest in anatomy, and desire to do good in the world brought me to the world of massage. I’ve got an effortless and specific style of discovering the areas you didn't even realize were causing you trouble. My goal is to provide a massage that is gentle yet effective leaving you mentally clear and physically lighter. Massage can be deep, but doesn't have to be painful to work. I read between the lines of your muscles and provide a treatment so you are renewed and ready for your next adventure.
My clients are an inspiring collection of bodies in motion. I work with cyclists, rock climbers, ironman competitors, mountaineers, cross-fit folks all at varying degrees of skill and ability - The most important thing is we are all out there trying our best. We play hard and have fun, then we take care of our muscles and get back to the grind.
